Marta Cartón Campbell
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Growing up in Spain, Marta learned early that nutrition and movement are the foundation of a healthy life. Her background in classical ballet, modern dance, athletics, European fashion modeling, and theater shaped her understanding of the body as a mover. She holds BASI Mat and Comprehensive Apparatus Pilates certification under founder Rael Isacowitz and BODHI Yoga Institute certification, with continued education through Tom Myers (Anatomy Trains) and Perry Nickelston (Stop Chasing Pain). With experience teaching both private clients and large group classes since 2014, her mission is to help individuals move safely, efficiently, and gracefully as they become independent movers. As Joseph Pilates said, "Not only is health a normal condition, but it is our duty to not only attain it but to maintain it."
Cara Peebles
Staying active and healthy has always been important to Cara. She's explored everything from dancing and boxing to CrossFit and triathlons. Despite physical limitations from scoliosis surgery (metal rods in her spine), a skiing accident (plates in her arm), and lifelong hip and knee issues, she fell in love with yoga after moving to VA in 2015. Yoga became more than physical practice for Cara—it helped her through Lyme disease and taught her to manage anxiety and depression through the mind-body-soul connection she'd never found elsewhere. With 23 years in sales and marketing and nearly a decade as a yoga instructor, Cara has combined her passion for helping people with her love of movement and wellness. She's living proof that any body can practice yoga. Shanti, Shanti, Shanti!

Kim Walton
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Kim has enjoyed movement and exercise throughout her life, with experience teaching group fitness in gyms, pools, and community settings. While working at a physical therapy office, she discovered Pilates and fell in love with its precise, intentional approach to movement. As an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with a BASI Comprehensive Pilates Certification, Kim is a lifelong learner who loves that Pilates can be practiced at any age and ability level. Each class is an opportunity to understand how bodies move and to challenge yourself to move better. As Joseph Pilates said, "Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things."
